PROBLEM SOLVING

PROBLEM SOLVING FOR NESTLE'S MAIN CORRUPT ISSUE

Some solutions for Nestle's company can implement to solve ethical and boycott issue:

  • Supporting WHO campaign in introducing complementary foods

WHO recommends that infants from 6 months of age onwards should be given supplementary foods in addition to breast milk. Initially, offer complementary foods 2-3 times daily for ages 6-8 months, and 3-4 times daily for ages 9-11 months and 12-24 months. increase times. Nestle can instructed in their pakaging for their consumer know to to be instructed in right way.

Around six months of age, an infant's energy and nutritional needs begin to exceed those of breast milk, and complementary foods are needed to meet these needs. Babies at this age are developing and ready for other foods. This transition is called complementary feeding.

If complementary foods are not introduced or improperly administered by about 6 months of age, infant growth may be stunted.

To ensure that the infant's nutritional needs are met, complementary foods should include:

Timely – means introduced when energy and nutrient needs exceed those that can be met by exclusive breastfeeding.

Adequate – means providing enough energy, protein and micronutrients to meet the nutritional needs of a growing child.

Safe – means hygienically stored and prepared and fed with clean hands and utensils, not bottles or teats.

Feed appropriately – This means meals are administered according to the child's appetite and satiety signals, and meal frequency and feeding are age-appropriate. Caregivers should play an active role in feeding the infant, including responding to the infant's hunger cues and encouraging the infant to eat.

  • Nestlé policy changes

Nestlé continues to oppose Baby Milk Action's four-point plan to save baby lives and end boycotts. To date, Nestlé has not accepted the Code and Resolutions as minimum standards for all countries. Most recently, in April 2014, she said in a letter to Baby Milk Action: Nestlé refuses to align its policies and practices with the Code and Resolutions.

Usually an critical move as can remind Nestlé of its expressed bolster for breastfeeding for two a long time and past when we challenge it for undermining breastfeeding through this period with its forceful promoting of follow-on milks and growing-up milks.

There are a few in reverse steps in Nestlé approach, be that as it may. Nestlé debilitated its approach in June 2010 to say it limitations on advancing equation 'also apply to follow-up equation items which are promoted for utilization by newborn children up to 1 year of age.' Earlier to this Nestlé's arrangement connected to 'all follow-up equation items but within the uncommon occurrences where they have brand/label plan which is particularly diverse from newborn child formula.'

Nestlé presently advances follow-on equations for utilize past one year of age with precisely the same branding as the infant formula. Nestlé debilitated its policy at this time as it was being reviewed for incorporation within the FTSE4Good moral investment index. from the FTSE stock trade posting company. This flawed system assesses companies against their claim approaches instead of the Code and Resolutions. FTSE accepted its collaborative approach with Nestlé would help drive changes, but has really brought about in driving guidelines down.

  • Solidarity with other nations

The boycott could be a way to appear solidarity with individuals campaigning around the world to halt Nestlé's forceful showcasing of infant nourishments in their nations.

The picture underneath is from a theater piece on countering Nestlé negligence performed at the World Breastfeeding Conference in Delhi, India, in December 2012.

To a few, exchange union internationalism could seem to be an awfully old-fashioned idea, indeed interesting. One might envision that in a few of world's driving corporate meeting rooms the utilize of the word “solidarity” might incite a condescending grin.

But as the world's biggest nourishment enterprise, Swiss-based Nestlé, has as of late found, worldwide labor solidarity can be exceptionally genuine and exceptionally effective.

That's a good problem-solving! But I think I might include something that might be another solution for Nestle to have an opportunity to make choices for their problem-solving. Like first identify the problem like the shortage of labor and second, gather the information about why that is happening third find the root causes of that issue forth generate solutions and evaluate and prioritize solutions and create an action plan for the issue. That is my opinion of Nestle.

Having said that, Nestle also can take proactive risk management. By implementing the proactive risk management, the company identifies and anticipates potential risks and challenges, enabling early intervention and mitigation. By getting ahead of emerging issues, Nestlé can address them quickly and prevent them from escalating into larger crises.

Good ! But, I can add one more problem solving here. To ensure that anti-corruption policies and procedures are being followed, Nestlé should implement internal controls and carry out routine audits. Audits can assist find controls' flaws and gaps and offer suggestions for improvement.
